What information do we collect and why are we processing your information?

We collect and process your data exclusively for specific purposes. For technical reasons, certain data must be collected and saved when your visit www.infraview.net, for example the date and duration of your visit, the webpages you used, the identification data of the browser and type of operation system in use, the website from which you came to visit us and your IP address. If these data enable an indication of the number of visitors and how our website is used, data is collected and processed in anonymized form only. The legal basis for processing your data is Article 6 (f) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), in particular the legitimate interest of infraView to ensure the functioning of the website and to optimize it. Other personal data is processed only if you share it with us freely, for example if you personally contact us via e-mail. The legal basis for this is Article 6 (a) of the GDPR. Please note that data and e-mails sent over the internet are normally unencrypted and are therefore not protected against third-party access.Because we cannot guarantee the confidentiality of the information sent when you contact us via e-mail, we recommend only sending confidential information via post.


Do we share your data with other parties?

This website requires the involvement of external service providers, for example data center service providers. The external service providers who we hire to process data are carefully selected and subject to strict contractual obligations as a rule. The service providers work in accordance with the instructions we provide and this is verified by technical and organizational actions and supplementary checks.


How long is your data stored?

All data that we collect from you out of technical necessity are saved temporarily only and are deleted subsequently as soon as possible. All other personal data with which you voluntarily share with us, for example if you personally contact us via e-mail, is saved only for the duration of time needed to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected or to comply with legal requirements.


What rights do you have?

  • You can request information on what data we store about you.
  • You can request the correction, deletion and blocking of your personal data as long as this is permitted by law and possible within the scope of an existing contractual relationship.
  • You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.

Are cookies used?

Duration of Data Storage

The data sent by us and linked to cookies, user-identifiers (e.g. User-IDs) or advertising-identifiers are automatically deleted after 14 months. Data whose retention period has been reached is automatically deleted once a month.

Rights of the Persons affected

You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future by blocking the storage of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly; however, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functionalities of this website to their full extent.

You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by Google by downloading and installing the Browser Add-on. Opt-out cookies will prevent future collection of your data when you visit this website.
